Lego Zen Garden Is Discounted In Cyber Monday Deal

Zen gardens are one of the coolest and most tranquil forms of art that you can nurture, but they can be expensive. Fortunately, this Lego replica will save you time, space, and money, as it’s on sale right now for Cyber Monday. Priced at $88 (was $110), you can bring a sense of serenity to your home with this kit.

  • Amazon — $88 ($110)
  • Walmart — $88 ($110)

Out of the box, you’re getting 1,363 pieces that can be used to construct a Japanese-inspired haven. There’s a pavilion, an arched bridge, a stream full of Koi carp, a tea room, and lotus flowers, which you’ll build inside of a sturdy foundation. If you don’t like the default design, you’re free to rearrange things, and once fully assembled, it makes for a nice model to display on your shelf.

  • Lego Bonsai Tree — $40 ($50)
  • Lego Insect Collection — $64 ($80)

This is just one of several Lego sets focused on bringing the natural world to life. The Lego Bonsai Tree set is a beautiful recreation of the iconic plant that requires years of patience to look after, but in this fast-paced world, you can skip that lesson in restraint and go wild with pruning this 878-piece set for $40 (was $50). Some leaves can be arranged to create floral beauty–you can choose between traditional green leaves and pink cherry blossoms–and the entire set rests in a decorative base.

On the creepy-crawly side of Lego, you can also bring some of the insect kingdoms to your home with this particular set. Priced at $64 (was $80), this one comes with 1,111 pieces that can be used to build three display models of insects in their natural habitats. There’s the Blue Morpho butterfly on a flower, the Hercules beetle with attachable wings, and the Chinese mantis to build, with each one looking like an impressive replica of the real deal.

Beyond that, there are a few other nice Lego deals to check out that cover sci-fi and cinematic universes. Fans of 2022’s The Batman movie can build the Batcycle from that film, as this 641-piece kit has been discounted to $30 (was $50). In the galaxy of Star Wars, you can pick up a cute replica of Darth Vader’s helmet for $49 (was $80), and Horizon fans can get a buildable Tallneck mech for $63 (was $105).

Child of Light Review_1

Fairy tales may be works of escapism, but no fairy tale worth its salt is purely a work of frivolous fantasy. No, the best fairy tales simultaneously let children escape from the frightening realities of life, while also helping them confront those realities, teaching them that even though life is difficult and scary sometimes, they are capable of overcoming adversity and coping with loss. Child of Light is a fine fairy tale in this tradition, a fantasy that deals with the reality of what it means to grow up. It’s also a gorgeous game with an engaging turn-based battle system and wondrous realms that are a joy to discover and explore. After coming to consoles and PC earlier this year, the game has made its way to the Vita, and it’s as excellent as ever.

Child of Light tells the story of Aurora, daughter of an Austrian duke in the late 1800s who finds herself transported to the land of Lemuria. Here, she learns that it is her destiny to recover the sun, moon, and stars from the…

Bungie Immortalizes Destiny Fan With Rare Genetic Disorder In Destiny 2

Make-A-Wish recipient Cristian asked Bungie to recreate his beloved dog Artemis in Destiny 2, to celebrate their life-changing friendship, and the company is making that a reality

Bungie immortalized this relationship in the game through an emote called “Loyal Companion,” which showcases the player’s guardian petting a Belgian Malinois, like Artemis. The codex entry for the Mind Shard sparrow also provides a quietly moving short story about Cristian’s Destiny 2 character, Prime-40, and Artemis. Outside of the game, Bungie made an adorable plush of Artemis, available in the Bungie Store. Proceeds from the emote and the plush go to the Bungie Foundation.

Cristian has a rare, and often deadly, genetic disorder which caused problems with his kidneys. He underwent his first surgery when he was 17 days old and spent the first five years of his life in hospitals. A kidney transplant helped him stabilize, but recovery was a still an incredibly difficult process.<…
